Hints on how to gain control in a Dental Office

1-X1rays that are taken in the office that you paid for are yours (own)  Ask for a copy, if digital have it sent to your phone.

2- Bring your own water bottle to the office; water in the sinks are not sterile (especially in covid times)

3-Make suret there is a Mask mandate

4-Ask questions:   example:  Do I need a crown can I have a bonded filling instead?  what is the cost?  Can I have a 3/4 onlay. instead of a crown?

*an only fits directly ove the decayed area and you do not have to take all the surface off the tooth structure.

5-Make sure your bite is checked.  Done by the dentist with a blue paper.  You can create trauma on cerrtain teeth if you are hittting a tooth or group of teeth first.  This can lead to tooth fracture and root canal condeitions.

6-Make sure you have a balanced bite:  The teeth opposing your porcelain teeth should be porcelain or bonded.  Silver should not be opposing porcelain teeth.   Silver on silver can cause a reaction as well.  Balance your mouth.

7-Tooth whitening should be done with caution.  Too much Peroxide bleach can cause harm to fragile tissues and tooth structure.   I do have a botanical whitening system that does the exact opposite of the ordinary bleacnhing techniques.

a-Brightening your teeth daily will bring luster back to your natural teeth with my botanical whitening system..  My system is one of a kind and can whiten bonded teeth and porcelain crowns.

b-Children of all ages can whiten teeth daily.  The Elderly Can whiten their teeth as well.
